Here at The Pin Up Girl, we offer packages that include all your beauty services to make sure everyone is looking their best on the big day. We also don't believe you should have to be a millionaire to afford the services you deserve. There are never any hidden fees and gratuity is completely at your discretion. Choosing to do a hair and make up package is approximately a 15% savings over choosing the services a la carte. We're flexible, we'll price adjust or just do what everyone wants, no problem. Read on for an explanation of what's included in our packages.
Hair. Whether you want an updo, down do, head of curls, beachy waves, a pin up style, a blow out or just a little fix up, we've got you covered. We don't require knowledge in advance of the style everyone wants, so it's just a flat price for hair included in the package. Of course, if you have super short hair, we can adjust the price accordingly. Any style you want is included in the package. There is no extra charge to put in your clip in extensions if necessary. You purchase your own extensions in advance, we can advise on this process if you need help.
Make Up. A full make up application using air brush make up and false eyelashes. Airbrush make up is a must for bridal as it is silicone based, lasts for up to 18 hours and is tear and sweatproof. It looks the best in HD photography and printwork. It is buildable from light to heavy coverage and looks super natural. Most of the time, airbrush is an upcharge service. Not for us, it's included. We are all certified Temptu Airbrush Master artists one of the foremost airbrush companies out of NYC and LA. We only do airbrush make up on the face.
Lashes. False lashes really complete the make up look and we've got all kinds! We have strip lashes in all sizes as well as flares to add to your own lashes to enhance your look. This is usually an extra charge, but with us, it's included.
Travel. Normally, artists will charge extra for travel time and distance. With us, it's all built right in to the package price.
On Location. Usually, if a stylist has to leave their salon station and come to you, there's an extra charge. With us, it all included. Not only that, we don't need a mirror in front of us or a hydraulic spinning chair to get your hair done. Hell, I've even kneeled on a bed and pinned someone's hair in!
Early start times. If you called a salon and asked them to come to your hotel room that's an hour away at 6 am to do you and 5 bridesmaids, they'd probably laugh in your face or drop an enourmous price tag on you. The idea is that they have to make up for the money that they'd make on say, a Saturday morning shift, which is often the busiest time for them. They're also not used to traveling so they don't have cool rolling carts and special make up chairs like we do so the prep and execution is much more costly for them. This is what we do. We have regular 9 to 5's during the week and we service bridal parties on the weekends. We're already set up and ready to go!
Bridal Specialists. Take it from me, an industry insider, there's a difference between a salon stylist and a bridal specialist. There's definitely a difference between your friend who likes make up and the rest of us professionals.
